Love it! I think I will try it tomorrow. I just got back from a Yin yoga class - a great way to get out of my head and tolerate groups. Thanks for sharing this, Kira!!
Hi just found you today on Instagram, and was drawn to find here, too. I’ve doing the quiet work of Joy Journeying officially since the beginning of the pandemic (although it's probably been an undercurrent of my whole life and the covid lockdown simply revealed it to me as a inner truth) and bringing it into my Alway On My Way community via creativoty intervals, mindful writing, mediation, intuitive movement and emotional release work. Coincidently, my recently started Substack is Joy Journeying with Jenn, so I think we have some synchronicities. ✨ I’ll be catching up with your 30-Day Joy Journey this evening and seeing what you've learned from it. My biggest takeaways about joy come from the Dalai Lama and Desmond Tutu’s conversation in The Book of Joy: Joy is something we can cultivate AND joy is our essence. Learning how and experimenting with those two concepts can simultaneously exist has opened me up to observing and experiencing a range of distinct flavors of joy… from silly, giddy spurts of delight to solitary moments of total self-compassion and acceptance to the courageous confidence that comes when my mind, body, heart and soul align to the lasting quality of joy as core expression of who I am. Anyway, I wanted to applaud you for creating this journey for yourself and giving yourself the space to explore it. I saw your video about how you were in a bad space spending all day on a computer and spending the evening on another device…I totally hear you …we (especially us GenX women) are getting so stuck in our lives and confronting the false promises we've carried for decades, joy can sometimes feel really far away. Now, as we reclaim all of ourselves in all the personal and professional ways we can, finding and realigning to what joy means now is so vital Cheers to you and all of us looking for ways to let our lead.

Of course!
Big fan of grounding. 🌱 It’s so simple, and yet can have such a positive impact. Thanks for sharing. Joy Journey Day 1!
